CAPTOR-RF / GPS / GSM - How it works

The CAPTOR-RF/GPS/GSM is a 3 in 1 vehicle tracking and recovery system.It allows CAPTOR to track and recover your vehicle in case of theft. With their dedicated recovery teams and RF (Radio Frequency) Network, CAPTOR has proven to be extremely successful in recovering stolen vehicles.

Tracking systems are not equal
There are many tracking systems in the market, and not all are equal. Other tracking systems are GPS/GSM or GSM based. GPS (Global Positioning System) utilises satellites in space to pin-point the location of your vehicle, which in turn SMS's the location to you via GSM. If you are outside of GSM coverage, you cannot track your vehicle.

However, high-tech thieves are equipped with GSM jammers, which stops your vehicle from communicating with you. Thus you cannot track your vehicle.

Radio Frequency tracking (RF)
Only CAPTOR utilises RF (Radio Frequency) Tracking, which is not affected by GSM jamming. RF tracking allows CAPTOR to 'home-in' into your vehicle, whether it is underground or outside of GSM coverage.
